Almost two weeks ago, I had $20, and I was in Walmart, and I desperately needed a Switch game. I saw that there was a few copies of a game called "Katamari Damacy". The only thing I really knew about it (the series, I presumed) was that I thought it involved some sort of ball of stuff. I bought it (don't you remember; I desperately needed a Switch game for myself!), and after playing it for maybe 20 minutes, I was almost ready to come on here (I mean this website) and start going on a long rant about what the heck did I just see and play? That was Saturday, April 3. Anyway, I came back to it about 1 hour later, and I started playing it more. The next Saturday, I beat it.
My friends (are you my friends?), this game is truly a work of art.
The more I played it, the more I realized how dang good of a game it is! I don't know where this game has been all my life, but I truly believe that this is a game almost everyone should at least try one time in their life. This was a game that almost made me regret buying it to holding it with an extremely high regard in my collection (and especially as just a game in general) within a SINGLE WEEK.
You know what? I started writing this a while back, and it was accidentally published (as just what you see above), and I wanted to finish the review, and I wanted to make it a long review, but honestly, just play the game for yourself, and you will realize that this game really is a work of art like I said. The idea is incredibly unique, and the music is excellent. Of course, the polygon count is low, but this honestly just makes it Katamari Damacy.
Just please, play the game. It is an experience that is completely worth it.
